Most recently I was able to spend time at the 2011 US Women's World Disc Golf Championship (USWDGC) in Round Rock, Texas. If you have never had the opportunity to watch or play Disc Golf, I would encourage you to do so. This is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Much like ball golf, there are a wide variety of discs used for long range shots, mid-range shots and putting. In addition, there are also professional players like Valerie Jenkins, Paige Pierce, Sarah Stanhope, Sarah Hokum, Catrina Allen, Nate Doss, Nikko Locastro, Dave Feldberg and Ken Klimo just to name a few. These players have the opportunity to travel the world playing tournaments in places like Japan, Finland, Europe, etc.

Below are a few of the pictures I took during the USWDGC this year. You can click on any of the images below to visit my site to see the full gallery, or you can simply go directly there by clicking this link.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and give disc golf a try some day. Much like any sport, once you try it, its hard to stop trying to perfect it.
